For a more social space you want to look at getting a communal sofa or something along those lines, for a private room, why not look at getting a comfy recliner or maybe a couple for when you have visitors. You may want to take a look at access to the room as it could get difficult with many people coming to watch.

A simple office could be a nice way to get away from the noise in the house if you have a family.You can do work without being hassled, and the level of seclusion if rather good. Having an office out of the way can increase productivity and also make working at home much more tolerable. An attic conversion office will also allow you to keep away from distractions preventing you from doing work, or even tempting you away from work.
